Mendana Brothers get jump on 2019 season with event at Gulfport, FL

Preparing for a return to a full time Formula Lights schedule for the 2019 season, both Jose and Carlos were able to get a head start with a Florida based event in Gulfport, FL. Jose Mendana Jr in his #21 Nut House Yacht Club / Middle Grounds Grill backed Pugh hull was able to pull off a clean sweep in both days of racing.  Carlos brought his #27 Park & Rec sponsored Pugh home in the third position behind Mike Deck. 

The 2019 national series schedule will begin the first weekend in May at Port Neches, TX. Jose Mendana Jr who is a two time winner at Port Neches, will be piloting the #27 hull in place of Carlos who will be not attending. This will be Jose's first start in this particular hull which will be sponsored by the Nut House Yacht Club and Bay Composites.
